Terms of Service

The rules for using CoreMatch

These Terms explain CoreMatch’s limited role as a connection platform, the responsibilities of homeowners and independent contractors, and the rules that protect the marketplace.

Effective September 15, 2026

CoreMatch is operated by EdgeiT Marketing. These policies apply to the CoreMatch website, accounts, marketplace tools, and related communications.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and EdgeiT Marketing, which operates CoreMatch. By creating an account, checking an acceptance box, publishing a Home Request, or using CoreMatch, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you use CoreMatch for a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts. CoreMatch is not intended for children. You may not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

2. CoreMatch is a technology marketplace

CoreMatch provides technology that helps homeowners describe a service need and connect with independent contractors. CoreMatch is not a contractor, construction manager, home-improvement provider, insurer, guarantor, employer, agent, broker acting for a contractor, or party to any agreement between users. CoreMatch does not perform, supervise, direct, inspect, control, or accept responsibility for contractor work.

CoreMatch does not negotiate a home-improvement contract for a contractor. Homeowners and contractors decide whether to work together and enter any service agreement directly with each other.

3. Accounts and account security

You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify CoreMatch promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, sell an account, or use another user's account without authorization.

4. Independent contractors and required credentials

Contractors use CoreMatch as independent businesses. They are solely responsible for licensing, registrations, advertising disclosures, insurance, bonding, permits, employees and subcontractors, pricing, scheduling, safety, code compliance, taxes, workmanship, warranties, liens, and every other legal or professional obligation that applies to their services.

Contractors must not advertise, bid, or perform work where they lack a required license or authorization. They must display license information wherever applicable law requires it and promptly update expired, suspended, or changed credentials. Nothing on CoreMatch creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise, or contractor-subcontractor relationship with CoreMatch.

5. Homeowner and contractor due diligence

You are responsible for evaluating the people and businesses you choose. Before signing or paying, homeowners should independently confirm current licenses, classifications, insurance, bonding, references, permits, scope, pricing, payment schedules, cancellation rights, warranties, complaint history, and applicable legal requirements. Contractors are responsible for evaluating the property, Request, customer, access, scope, and conditions before committing to work.

6. Matches, verification, and AI output

A match, verification status, review, ranking, suggested contractor, response-time estimate, imported profile field, or AI-generated explanation is informational only. It is not an endorsement, certification, warranty, or guarantee of identity, ownership, availability, licensing, insurance, safety, price, conduct, workmanship, or outcome.

AI-assisted output may be incomplete or incorrect. Users must review it before relying on or publishing it. CoreMatch does not use AI to make final hiring, award, licensing, or eligibility decisions.

7. Home Requests, communications, bids, and direct contracts

Homeowners are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their Home Requests, property access, approvals, and payment obligations. Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles, bids, proposals, credentials, communications, and work. A budget is a planning range, not a quote, bid, or promise.

Any work agreement is made directly between the homeowner and contractor. CoreMatch is not a party to that agreement and does not negotiate, administer, enforce, guarantee, or collect payment under it. Scope changes, deposits, progress payments, cancellation rights, warranties, permits, liens, and dispute procedures should be addressed in the parties' written agreement as required by law.

8. Address sharing, property access, and safety

CoreMatch restricts an exact Home Request address until the homeowner awards the Request and separately chooses to release it to the awarded contractor. The homeowner controls that release. Users must use an address and other personal information only for the relevant Request and must not sell, scrape, publish, or misuse it.

Users are responsible for safe property access, site conditions, occupants, pets, tools, materials, and compliance with safety requirements. In an emergency, contact emergency services rather than relying on CoreMatch messaging.

9. Fees, subscriptions, and contractor payments

CoreMatch beta access may be free. If CoreMatch introduces paid subscriptions or features, the price, renewal period, cancellation method, taxes, and material purchase terms will be shown before purchase. Fees paid to CoreMatch purchase access to platform services; they are not payment for contractor work.

Unless CoreMatch expressly launches a separately disclosed payment product, homeowners must pay contractors directly under their independent agreement. CoreMatch does not hold construction deposits, escrow funds, or progress payments in the current beta.

10. Reviews and marketplace integrity

CoreMatch reviews must reflect a genuine experience connected to an awarded Request. Fake, deceptive, AI-fabricated, insider, retaliatory, or irrelevant reviews are prohibited. Incentives may not be conditioned on a positive or negative sentiment, and material connections must be clearly disclosed.

CoreMatch does not favor positive reviews over negative reviews. We may investigate, label, restrict, or remove content for authenticity, privacy, relevance, safety, or legal violations—not merely because it is critical. The Review Policy is part of these Terms.

11. User content and permission to operate the service

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant CoreMatch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service, subject to your privacy settings and the Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it does not violate law or another person's rights.

12. Intellectual property and copyright complaints

CoreMatch software, branding, design, and non-user content belong to EdgeiT Marketing or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, sell, or exploit the service except as law permits. Copyright or trademark complaints should identify the protected work, the challenged content and location, the complainant's contact information, a good-faith statement, and the authority of the person submitting the notice.

13. Acceptable use and nondiscrimination

  • Do not commit fraud, misrepresent credentials, impersonate others, evade verification, or submit malicious files.
  • Do not scrape personal information, interfere with security, overwhelm the service, or access data without authorization.
  • Do not threaten, harass, discriminate unlawfully, or use CoreMatch to facilitate dangerous or illegal conduct.
  • Do not move platform-derived personal information into unrelated marketing lists without valid permission.

14. Third-party services

CoreMatch may use third-party authentication, hosting, storage, email, AI, payment, mapping, and review providers. Their services may have separate terms and privacy practices. Google Maps and Yelp content remains subject to the applicable provider terms, attribution, ordering, availability, and display requirements. Public LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram links do not grant CoreMatch permission to sign in, publish, message, or manage those accounts. CoreMatch does not control third-party websites or guarantee their availability or accuracy.

15. Suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend, unpublish, or terminate accounts, listings, Requests, or content when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, address legal or security risk, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. You may stop using CoreMatch and request account deletion, subject to legitimate retention needs described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.

16. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoreMatch is provided “as is” and “as available.” EdgeiT Marketing disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, title, and uninterrupted or error-free availability. We do not guarantee that a contractor, homeowner, Request, bid, review, credential, integration, or service outcome will meet your expectations. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limitation of liability and release

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdgeiT Marketing and its owners, affiliates, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or damages arising from another user's conduct or services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoreMatch is not responsible for negligence by another user, bodily injury, death, property damage, theft, delays, defective or incomplete work, code violations, permit failures, liens, nonpayment, misrepresentation, or other acts or omissions of users or third parties. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected. A qualified attorney should determine whether a specific monetary cap is appropriate before paid plans launch.

18. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EdgeiT Marketing, its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, penalties, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of CoreMatch, your Home Request or services, your contract with another user, your content or representations, your violation of law or these Terms, or injury or damage caused by your acts or omissions.

19. Disputes with CoreMatch

Before bringing a claim against EdgeiT Marketing relating to CoreMatch, you agree to send written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution and allow 30 days for a good-faith informal resolution. Disputes between homeowners and contractors remain disputes between those parties.

These Terms are governed by Nevada law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. Subject to any nonwaivable rights, claims involving EdgeiT Marketing will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Clark County, Nevada. Small-claims rights and any rights that cannot legally be waived are preserved. These Terms do not presently require arbitration or waive class-action rights; those provisions should not be added without review by qualified counsel.

20. Changes, notices, and beta operation

CoreMatch may revise these Terms as the service changes. We will post an updated effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes. When required, we will ask users to accept a new version before continuing. Changes do not retroactively alter a separately signed homeowner-contractor agreement.

The beta may change, experience interruptions, or contain incomplete features. Data may be corrected or removed during testing. Users should retain copies of signed agreements, bids, photos, and other important records outside CoreMatch.

Terms version 2026-09-15. Headings are for convenience. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. These Terms and incorporated policies are the agreement between you and EdgeiT Marketing regarding CoreMatch unless a separate signed agreement applies.
